Christmas Cookies

Every year I make sugar cookies... I know my kids look forward to it, as well as Ben, and the rest of our family... Hayden ate them as quickly as he could decorate them. and Ady wouldn't have anything to do with putting them in her mouth!

A lot is happening around here, and not a lot of it has to do with the Christmas season... I feel like scrooge this year. No Christmas tree, nothing festive in sight... all because we are moving. (it's for a good cause, really!) Our poor kids...

We have been trying to go out of our way for them, though. We have been Christmas light searching for a few nights, and have found some well done houses in our neighbor hood. Hayden and Ady both loving screaming out "Christmas Light" (or in Ady's Language "tis tis ights" ) So cute.


Tonight, we went to my Mom's ward Christmas party. Hayden sure enjoyed himself with all of the delicious treats they had laying about. Ady was kinda grumpy... and wanted nothing to do with Santa Claus. Overall, we had a good time!




Ady was ok, at first, but then her real side came out...

Early Christmas

Early Christmas...

This past Sunday we had Grandma Newbie, Jack, Levi, and Sandy over and did some celebrating... They had brought presents for early opening as our moving to Baker City is going to make things quite hectic, and we didn't have the room to "hide" Hayden's present anymore...

We are moving on Saturday December 20th to Baker City, Oregon!

Yay! and I got tagged!

We're moving... to Baker City that is... Ben was offered the Hospital job today! Boy, are we excited.... More info to come soon!

1. Did you date someone from your school? As far as boyfriends I guess so...2 to be exact... Jared, and Nate.

2. What kind of car did you drive? Old dodge reliant...thanks to brett, my mom's mini van, and finally a dodge neon!

3. Did you pass your drivers test on your first try? Yep

4. Were you a party animal? I don't remember...ha ha ha,

5. Were you considered a flirt? Probably

6. Were you in band, orchestra or choir? Choir...Jazz piano baby...didn't last too long though

7. Were you a nerd? what's the exact definition? no, i think not?

8. Were you on any varsity teams? Nope....

9. Did you ever get suspended/expelled? Not even close

10. Can you still sing the fight song? Heck no

11. Who were your favorite teachers? Mrs. Jones (english),

12. Where did you sit for lunch? In the caf... or going to friends houses

16. If you could go back and do it again would you? No... I had fun, but I love my life now, and know that all of the decisions i made in highschool, and after highschool got me to where I am now... so i am happy and wouldn't go back
