We went to a BBQ for the local Nazarene church. We have met some very loving people, who have been sooo kind to us, and they all go to that church! It was a Phillips park, more like a forest with "hiking" trails that lead to multiple ponds and streams. BeautifulAdy eating a cookie! Our friend Warren. He did a nose dive in the dirt and I couldn't resist. Such a cute kid!

Hayden and his new friend! They were like this most of the picnic.

Our regular timer photo shot... i think it turned out pretty well!

Hayden started preschool!

Hayden was soooo excited to go to preschool. He goes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons! He looks forward to it everyday! He loves it!

Of course he wanted his picture taken in front of the car!
Being his silly self!

We moved, and then moved again.... all in one week!

That's right folks. Long story short. We moved into a house, an older house, that we thought we were going to buy. Our loan didn't go through when we expected, the lady who owned the house freaked out, we had only lived there 3 days, and then we moved again. This time, it's into a newer house. 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath with a 2 car extended garage. I'll do a post later about the inside. The only picture I have is from the garage sale we had the saturday after we moved in.

A Lot!

On our last trip to Boise we were able to attend the Zoo. The kids loved it.

Full time Mom, Full time job!

I got the job! A medical billing job to be exact! When I had started at the hospital, I started on the note that I would eventually be transferred to the Billing department! Well folks, that time has come!

This last week, I was officially working full time. Having been a stay at home mom for the past few years, it has been hard adjusting to working full time, all day long, but I think things are working out!

Kids are going to daycare, which they seem to love. I say seem, cause I can never get a good answer out of Hayden, about anything. So I believe he likes it. Ady, on the other hand, loves going to daycare and sometimes cries when I tell her we aren't going. We are also looking into Preschool for Hayden to start this year! He's been pretty excited about that.

We also have Hayden in swimming lessons! He loves swimming at the YMCA and loved his teacher! We have him signed up for another 2 week session in August! We didn't sign up Ady for swimming lessons, because all they had to offer was Mommy and Me lessons, which from prior experience with Hayden, he didn't remember any of it, and was still afraid of the water, until his first on his own lesson. This is the picture he received on the last day of his swimming lesson! Look how happy he is!

This past week, Hayden also got to experience Vacation Bible school. It was every night from 6-8 at a local church here. I was able to volunteer one of the night, and got to experience the fun for myself! Each night they did bible study, a game, a craft and singing and dancing. He even got a cd of all the music they sang to, and loves listening to it all the time!

Today, we went to the Shriner's Parade in downtown Baker City! We all walked to downtown, got some yummy breakfast from Baker Cafe, and watched the floats stroll on by. The kids got a bag full of candy and prizes, then we walked to the library, got some books, walked out the back door of the library to the park, went to the farmers market and walked back home.

Up to this weekend, other than that, things haven't been much to exciting, besides Hayden puking and Ady eating extra strength excedrin, we all seem to be GREAT!

Lack of Blogging

Lots has been happening lately, and I just wanted to let all know, that we are alive and kicking!

The week of Ady's 2nd birthday was fun. Aunt Tiffy, Ady's favorite person, and Caylee, were able to come and spend some time with us! Ady was trilled, and so where the rest of us!

To sum it all up!

I haven't felt like blogging lately. So I think I will try to sum up everything that has been happening in our life since the last time i blogged.

The weekend before my twin sister and I's birthday, we headed to Boise to celebrate with our families. We got spoiled. On the actual day of my birthday, I had to work. Ben surprised me with a handmade bouquet of flowers, of which I thought he had purchased from the local flower store. I was wrong, there were people at his work that saw him make it himself! He should go into business doing flower arrangements. It was absolutely beautiful. Sad I didn't get a picture though. Well, later that day, I had a meeting at work, or so i thought. When I arrived at the room of the meeting, my boss was standing outside the door waiting for me. When I walked in, there were all my co workers, my husband and my sister, with the kids, all there to celebrate with me. I was surprised! and excited that Tiff had showed up a day early so we could be together on our birthday!

Not much happened between that and the fourth of July! This last weekend, our good friends, Jay and Kathy came to Baker to help us celebrate the 4th. We started out the morning by walking a 10k. Our poor friends... we dragged them along, but they were troopers and got through it with us! The 10k we participated in was part of a day long celebration in the neighboring city of Haines. After the 10k we stayed around the parade! So big, for such a small little town.

After the parade, we heading home and found that a local real estate company had put flags in the front of every one's yard. As we drove down the road, I was in amazement at the generosity of this company, and loved seeing all the flags!

That night, Kathy made a delicious Filipino dinner. It consisted of chicken, with soy sauce, garlic and rice and man was it delicious. She has made it every time we have visited with her, and I love it. As the darkness rolled around, we got ready for fireworks. The guys had a splendid time lighting them all off. I am really disappointed that I didn't take any pictures, but maybe next time.
Sadly, Kathy had to go home on Sunday, but Jay was able to stay and hang out with Ben. They went fishing two times, and the last time, they took Hayden with them! He was sure happy about that!
