Just a quick update...

We are all doing good, getting over the blues of a new town.

I have been taking the kids to Story time at the library every week at 10am. They thoroughly enjoy it. They get 3 or 4 books read to them, based on a theme for that day, and then complete a craft project as well! Hayden and Ady have both taken a liking to it, so I think we will continue... also it gives us the opportunity to get enough books to read throughout the week, and return them for another set the next week!

We have also been going to playgroup at the YMCA. Not as enjoyable, but still good for the kids to get some interaction with others their age!

Today, we met with some new friends... Sarah and Megan, and their kids (they each have a boy and a girl as well) We had fun spending time with them and getting to know them better! We hope that we will be able to spend more time with them and enjoy their company...

With my previous experience in medical records and billing, I am excited at the opportunity of volunteering at the hospital Ben works at. Ben has talked to some of the great people there, and have found me a position in medical records, in which I can volunteer! I know I will enjoy it, and am ready for the experience it brings... I will keep you all up to date on how this pans out!!!

Feeling a little blue:

Since moving, I have felt a little down about the whole situation: New town, first time living in another state, no friends what so ever, all equal loneliness. That describes me lately. with a few more things as well. I have been in a pity rut and can't seem to get out of it. Yesterday, Ben brought me roses, my favorite cookies, and a card to tell me how much he appreciated me, and letting me know he was there for me. Even though i know his love and devotion, it really made my day better by him doing this. I love him more than he will ever know. They are called antique roses!

My favorite!

January! (in a nut shell)

I haven't done a blog in a while... i guess you could say i have had the blogger blues?! if there is even such a thing! We have been some what busy recently, and i though i would post a ton, literally, of some pictures we have taken this month.

Tiffany, Darek, and Caylee came up to help us celebrate Ben's Birthday. We had a good time, just relaxing and letting the kids catch up on some playtime! We took the opportunity to explore the park in this new town! We all had fun

Caylee, Ady, and Hayden crawling through the tunnels at the park!
A timer photo of all of us... I think it turned out quite well (especially of all the kids, since there was no one to get and keep their attention during the whole ordeal!)

While Ben was attempting to quickly get over to take a picture, he took quite the spill,
and laid on the ground to recover?!

Rosy red cheeks, boy was it cold!

Not the normal way for Ady to slide. She usually prefers to go head first, belly down!

Family photo of Tiffany, Darek, and Caylee

Our Family!

Another cute one!

We love playin at the park!

Self portrait!

Adults can have fun at the park too!

Toys for adults, how clever!

Cousin-ly love!

Can we save this for blackmail?

Gotta love the expressions?!

Another puzzle I completed.
I probably wouldn't have finished it, if it weren't for the help of my sister!

How Ady falls asleep most nights! She insists on sleeping with books?
Good or bad? I don't know?

Ben got a xbox 360 remote: making streaming netflix movies a cinch!

Like aunt, like niece... I hear it all the time how Ady looks so much like her aunt!
They sure are cute together!

ha ha ha... only good aunts know how to have all the fun!

Priceless!

Happy Birthday Ben!

Today Ben turns the big 26! Happy Birthday Babe, I hope your day was all that you wanted it to be and more. We love you, your the best husband, father, brother, and son one could ask for, and we just wanted you to know it! We are thankful you are in our lives and get to experience your love. Thank you for all that you do, all that you have done, and for the many more experiences we will get to endeavor together! This is the picture Hayden drew fro Ben's card. He drew all of us... Ben being the biggest down to Ady, who he made the smallest. He said "Mommy, we have the bestest family ever..." It made me cry... Life has been tough, but I know my kids are my strength, they always see it like it is!This picture was supposed to be a video... but it's not, so an explanation with have to do for now! Hayden, and Ady, yes my 18 month little girl, were both singing happy birthday to their dad! Priceless! Ady has quite the vocabulary, and always is either talking or singing. She copies everything Hayden says and more! My house is never quiet, never dull!Blowing out all of daddy's 26 candles. Hayden knew just what to do!

Hayden helping his Daddy open presents! I think all 3 year olds are obsessed with opening presents!

On a side note: Today i took the kids to Ben's work, while he was out for pizza with this co workers. I decorated his office door and left him a cake on his desk! He was quite amazed that I got this done in the little time I had, and I also got to meet a lot of nice people there as well! I think we surprised him!

Kids, Kids, Kids

I haven't had a picture of them together in a while, so I decided to take some... right out of bed pictures... Don't mind the messy hair, or the just woken up look!

Hayden saying "but mom, I don't want my picture taken."

They are done for the day with pictures!

My little Man... In the Kitchen

Hayden has shown an interest in the kitchen... So I thought now would be the perfect time to teach him how to make his own PB&J... He thought this was quite amazing, and am sure he will be asking every day to make another sandwich!

Enjoying his masterpiece!

Ady and Hayden's new favorite thing to do is walk around with pots on their heads? Why? I haven't a clue, but they sure do have fun!

For Christmas this year, my mom bought Ady this adorable white knit?crochet? outfit. I absolutely love it, and have been looking for an outfit like this since Hayden was born! Ady loves it too! Thanks Mom!
Ok, so she didn't want her picture taken .... but i insisted. I am such a mean mom.

P.S.... please don't mind the hair... she is going through the "ouch" stage and doesn't want me doing a darn thing with it.

Happiness

We are blessed people. We have the family to prove it... We have been quite unbusy this week, with nothing really to do here in Baker City in the winter. This week, the kids and I ventured out to story time at the library. Hayden enjoyed it, although he talked through most of the story, telling everyone and anyone that would listen, about anything he could think of. I'm not surprised at the least because he is always either talking or making noises.... Life around here is never dull with Hayden around.

On Thursday, we went to Playgroup at the YMCA. Hayden, once again enjoyed it... I think he was the oldest kid there, and kinda bossy, but isn't that how oldest children are? Ady was really clingy to me, and came down with a 102.2 fever that night. We found out the next morning that she has a double ear infection... no fun! She seems to be recovering just fine and is just about back to her normal self! Thank heaven for prescriptions! The other day I asked Hayden to get himself a fork for his lunch. When I had turned around to make sure he got settled for lunch, i found that he had gotten the serving fork and was using it. He now wants to use it every time he eats! and he actually let me take his picture! We had a box in our kitchen, and it's Ady's favorite place to be!Little late on posting these pictures. This is my grandparents, Tiffany, and I when we came to Boise to visit!Twin sister, Tiffany, and I!

I have had a lot of stress lately in my life, and I came to the realization that doing puzzles helps me deal with it. (I know it's old person-ish, and weird, but it works for me) Here are 2 pictures of the 2 1000 piece ones i have accomplished lately. I am currently working on one that my grandma gave me for Christmas!

I thought this was funny. While Ben's mom, and Jack were here visiting, Jack took it upon himself to shovel out all of the water from out driveway. The snow was melting and there is no drain for the water to go to. Jack was out there for a few shoveling water. Needless to say, the water is still there, and I don't think it will be going anywhere soon!
