Glad to be home from Pendleton

Today, we had the opportunity to go to Pendleton OR for Ben's work. He had to pick up some printers at the Hospital there, for his Hospital here in Baker City. Pendleton is about a 2 hour drive from us, so we all decided to go as a family, and make a day out of it!
After our first stop at the Hospital, we went to lunch, and then headed over to the Children's Museum of Eastern Oregon! It's an indoor play area for kids of all ages. They have multiple different stations for kids to learn about different things. There is a shadow room, where I believe they have the wall painted in glow in the dark paint. You walk over to the wall and stand in a pose, then someone turns the lights on, and off really quickly, you walk away, and once you look at the wall, your shadow is there! It's pretty cool... (sorry for the confusing explanation). Also, they have an animal room with real animals/reptiles, a fire house, a dress up station, a craft room, a reading area, a restaurant, a Lewis and Clark ship, a toddler room, a construction room, and a market/deli! The kids really enjoyed the firehouse the most! We are glad they got to experience the fun!

Hayden dressed himself up as batman!

Playing on the ship!

Mom's can have fun too! (I am also in the ship!)

Playing in the toddler room!

Playing in the Construction room! It's a wall of 2x4's with holes drilled through.. You can build your own pipe system!

Building with the wooden blocks!

Playing in the supermarket! What produce should I choose?!

He charged me $50 bucks for an apple, banana, and a tomato...

At the little restaurant area, they were the waiters/chefs and we were the customers

I was given tofu, sushi, and rice patties!

Ben got pizza, all fake, ofcourse!

Hayden, with Ady's help, putting out the "fire"!

All in all, it was fun, and worth the money! We enjoyed every moment of it!
